| Mzanzi is a nguni word for South and in this context e-Mzanzi refers to South Africa's Information Society status. This will come in the form of Information Society flagship projects and possible areas on which the country may need to focus. This quarterly newsletter aims not only to inform about the strides we are making as a country but also create a platform for suggestions and ideas in building an inclusive Information Society in the country. This edition covers the recent developments in the building of the Information Society in the country. |  | Among others is the approval by Cabinet of the National Information Society and Development (ISAD) Plan as a framework for the building of an Information Society as well as the Institutional Mechanisms to help do so.
